A message from Dr. Ettinger:
It was a great honor for me to be the Physician Honoree at the The Leslie Munzer Neurological Institute (LMNI) 4th annual gala www.lmni.org/gala.html on November 19, 2011. There, I took the opportunity to speak about the inspiring stories of courage and endurance of my patients with epilepsy.
I also had the special opportunity to perform a musical tribute to my patients in company with professional musicians Steve Salerno, Frank Bellucci, Roy Dejesus and Ed Pisano. [Video] One of our songs entitled “Free” was selected to symbolize our dream that one day, treatments will be available to render anyone with epilepsy seizure-free. [See the video here]
Our new group “The Spikebusters” provides the unique presentation of medical education and advocacy information with uplifting jazz melodies. If you are a medical group or society looking for an inspirational and educational message, our group would be delighted to perform for you. Please contact Mr. Frank Bellucci at 516.617.1271.
